We had a wonderful time celebrating McKinnon's first year of life with friends and family. Friday night (McKinnon's actual birthday) we gave him his first taste of cake (or any sweet for that matter). He was much more into squishing it with his fingers than actually eating it. The entire cake finally ended up on the floor - Layla was stoked.
Saturday night we had a cocktails and cake with friends. A fun time was had by all.
