Our little 7 mother could not be any sweeter or more enjoyable. Biba is now sitting up...eating 2 solid meals a day....rolling all over the house (and refusing to be on her back during a diaper change)....she does not like to be on her back actually at all (i think she may start crawling soon - she can scoot herself to anything that she wants without any trouble).....she is obsessed with mckinnon (and vice versa) - if she hears his voice she starts kicking her legs so fast straining her neck every direction looking for him....the minute she sees him she squeals with delight and is all smiles (he too is all smiles, kisses and hugs when he sees her)....he can make her laugh harder than any of us (i actually thought she was choking the other day she was laughing so hard at him throwing a ball up in the air).....her favorite thing to do is take a bath with mckinnon - where they both kick their legs so fast and water splashes everywhere (i do not love this game)....she is very social - and always wants to be part of the action....she is also very, very vocal.....she continues to sleep great at night and takes a morning & afternoon nap....she really is so much more easy going than her brother ever was/is   :)

mckinnon is a hilarious little guy. his current passion is smoke alarms and batteries. we spent the morning last week at home depot walking the aisles looking up at all the smoke alarms on the 30+ft ceilings (he looks for them everywhere we go - grocery store, school, peoples' house, etc). ceiling fans continue to be his other "must-do"at home depot - he picked out about 5 different fans that he wants for his 3rd birthday. he is also fascinated with batteries & has a little tool kit that he carries around with him pretending to replace batteries on all his toys because they are "beeping".
He is quite the back seat driver (just like his grandaddy) and tells me when to go faster or which way to go (and will actually become upset if i do not go that way). he tells me to stop at red lights and to go at green lights.....funny at first but is now getting a little old.
