We are going to be first time home owners soon!!!

Jon and I have been married for 2 years and have already lived all over the country together. We got engaged while living in Charlotte, NC - moved to Gainesville, FL - lived briefly back in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Evanston, IL for Northwestern's Kellogg MBA program - moved back to Charlotte, NC after completion and then decided to move once more to Palo Alto, CA for another program in Engineering Material Science.

This has been quite an adventure I would never change but I can not wait to finally no longer live as nomads - moving every 3 to 12 months and actually buy a house! Our time frame is still not 100% concrete but as of right now we will be returning to Charlotte, NC this coming June (much earlier than our expected December 2010 date). Jon is hoping to be able to finish up his degree online and allow us to finally share McKinnon with our families. It has been very difficult being so far away from all of our loved ones since he was born.

SOOOO....we are purchasing Jon's old house that he grew up in and has lived in since 1984. Pretty cool , huh. It is located in the Raintree neighborhood in South Charlotte. It has been completely renovated and we are truly blessed to buy it as our first home. McKinnon's room will be the room Jon grew up in :)
